VISION AND VALUES
- Making Damarco an accommodation with respect for the environment at its core, aimed at local patrons and travelers from abroad
- Promote cuisine and drinks with ingredients that are as natural and locally produced as possible

Damarco
Alessia and Christof share a passion for travel, foreign languages, renewable energy, natural cooking, sports and the pre-Alpine mountains.
After three years living in the English countryside, they decided to return to Italy to start their own life project at Cerbaro. Mindful of grandmother Bruna's admonition "rolling stones do not take root" Alessia and Christof hope to put down roots right here on the Tretto plateau.
HISTORY OF DAMARCO
In the 1970s Bruna and Marco Santacatterina kicked off the construction of the "Ristorante-Albergo Da Marco," a favorite meeting place in the Vicenza Pre-Alps.
Damarco's story is that of an entire family revolving around the spacious building with its three characteristic arches. Supported by his siblings Loretta and Gastone, Guido, Bruna and Marco's son, took over the running of the restaurant in the 1980s and made it the place of choice for gourmets who love good food as much as the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere.
The year 2017, now two years after the passing of loved ones Bruna and Marco, is a time of return and rebuilding: granddaughter Alessia and husband Christof choose to live at Cerbaro and continue the family tradition by incorporating their vision and skills.
Accommodations
From Damarco one can admire the mountains in the area through short or long hikes and bike rides. Mountain bikes or pedal-assisted bicycles can be rented with advance notice.
Breakfast is included in the price and includes tea or coffee, juice, bread, jam, honey, butter, cheese, seasonal fruits, muesli and yogurt. Lunch and dinner can be prepared at the request of guests. Dishes from the daily menu can be chosen when the restaurant is open.

Damarco provides transportation for guests to and from the nearby Schio train station (20 minutes by car). Venice, Treviso and Verona airports are about 1.5 hours away by car.
Vegetarian restaurant
There is a large dining room to accommodate up to 100 people-available for family parties such as weddings, christenings or groups, by reservation.
Damarco supports the use of local products to minimize environmental impact. We strive to use whole foods as much as possible for maximum nutrient intake. You will find many vegetarian options and dishes prepared with vegetables grown in Uncle Guido's garden.
The restroom is equipped with a changing table.
The bistro-restaurant area and bathrooms are accessible to people with disabilities.
